reproductions
Our aim is
to supply highest quality reproductions of real photographic images of
Australian scenes and life from the 1850s to the 1950s. Most of the photographs
in our collection were produced by professional photographers. Our images
are produced from original photographs using the highest quality equipment and
materials and are presented in sepia tone. All
of our images are treated with a UV resistant compound to enhance longevity
without affecting clarity. Please note that the catalogue images are
scanned at low resolution. Purchased photos are virtually as sharp as the
original images. This website is best viewed via Internet Explorer.

catalogue.
Search our catalogue of
thousands of photos by locality and theme. Initially, the majority of our images
are from Victoria, particularly from the Dandenong Ranges, Mornington Peninsula,
Upper Yarra Valley, Melbourne suburbs and country towns. We also have many
themes, including transport, fashion/glamour, timber & logging and others.
The majority of our photos are Edwardian and Art Deco, some Victorian and the
rest up to the 1950s. The catalogue will be regularly updated to include our
expanding collection of Victorian images, as well as many from other
states.

Latest additions are now listed on the Latest Additions page. They are listed
by month for several months and then deleted. There are many new
photos for May, 2010.

entered into the catalogue including many of Melbourne city and suburbs,
Mornington Peninsula, Dandenong Ranges, Upper Yarra and other country
Victoria as well as other states and themes.
